A pack I bought isn't showing up

Try "Restore Purchases" in the Settings tab. Please also check that you are signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to make the purchase.

Will I really find something there?

This app is a map of candidate sites, not a guarantee of a find. Using geological data and records of past occurrences, it narrows things down to places where material is physically likely to accumulate. Records of sites where nothing was found are published too, free of charge.

Can I tell whether collecting is allowed at a site?

Areas where collecting is not permitted, such as natural monuments, are included but clearly labelled "possible violation". Even so, it is up to you to confirm, site by site, whether entry and collecting are allowed. Please respect private property, fishing rights, the rules of the river authority, and any signage posted on site.

Does it work with no signal?

Yes. All of the candidate data is built into the app, so sites, the reasoning behind them, and your own records all work where there is no reception. (Only loading the map's background imagery requires a connection.)

I would like a refund

Refunds for in-app purchases follow Apple's policy. Please apply through reportaproblem.apple.com.

A map of places along Japan's riverbanks and beaches where you may be able to pick up any of 20 kinds of minerals and fossils, including placer gold, amber, jade, obsidian and fossil shark teeth, narrowed down from geological data and records of past occurrences. Every site shows the reasoning for why it is there.
