Frequently asked questions
- No boxes appear
- In bright daylight, hold your iPhone between hip and chest height with the camera aimed ahead and down (about 45°), and walk slowly. It struggles in the dark, with wet, shiny leaves, and with freshly mowed short leaves. A four-leaf clover may not show up as a candidate, so view it from another direction too.
- Boxes appear on three-leaf clovers or other plants
- A box marks a candidate that might have four leaves. This app never declares that a clover has four leaves. Crouch and check with your own eyes. The sensitivity slider on the search screen changes how boxes appear.
- Can it search my photos?
- Yes. Choose "Scan a photo" on the home screen and pick a photo. The app marks any candidates with boxes.
- Can I move my finds to another device?
- Your finds are stored only on this device. To move something, export it with the Share button.
- My iPhone got warm
- The camera and the recognition run continuously, so your iPhone warms up. If the app says it is getting hot, give it a short rest.
- I'd like a refund
- Apple handles refunds for apps. Please go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
About this app
Hold your iPhone at waist height with the camera aimed ahead and down, and walk. The app looks for four-leaf candidates in the grass and alerts you with a buzz and a sound. For iPhone with iOS 17 or later. A one-time purchase with no in-app purchases or ads. Please watch your step and your surroundings while you walk.
